Ernst Altidort is the youngest of three brothers and along with his older
siblings, Michel-Ange and
Faiderbe, he paints in a
style unique to the Artibonite Valley. Ernst began painting at around 18 years of age and has matured
into an artist who combines attention to detail with a warm cheerful pallet. He
usually paints village scenes and children- and these appealing images delight
viewers. 3
