Mireille Delice lives with her husband and
three children in a residential area of Port-au-Prince. She learned to
make Drapo Vodou from Myrlande Constant, and the two remain friends today.
Approaching Constant in the quality of her work, Delice is ambitious,
daring, and determined. Her flags express secular as well as Vodou themes,
and range in mood from reverent to playful to erotic. She has recently
begun to attract significant attention from collectors around the United
States, as well as major media outlets, including the Miami
Herald.
